Thanks for helping me understand the chord progression in the harmonic minor scale. I was wondering what sort of chords does an augmented chord go into? There's one I discovered so far. I found that if I strum a C major chord for a four count and then go into a C augmented it sounds pretty good, almost mellow jazzy or something I've heard in older music. In fact, I'm just going from C to Caug, then sharping the A note in that C aug chord and ending on a C7. What else works with augmented? As far as I can see I can only fit it into that chromatic progression. Thanks.
